Asot Mishpat Veahavat Hesed ("Do Justice and Love Charity"), takes its’ name and inspiration from the famed words of the Prophet Micha: "… what does Hashem demand of you?
Do justice and love charity, and walk humbly before Hashem" (Micha, 6:8).
Our mission is to provide underprivileged Israelis with low-to-no cost, high quality legal representation, including those who are not eligible for legal aid from public agencies.
Aid applicants who meet our eligibility requirements can receive 30%-70% subsidized legal aid.
In cases of exigency, and upon special authorization by the the board, aid applicants can receive up to 100% subsidized legal aid.
